Day 1: Learn and Practice TeamSTEPPS® Tools and Strategies (Registration begins at 7:30am, training begins at 8:00am, and the day ends at 4:15pm)
Day 2: Implement and Sustain TeamSTEPPS® Tools and Strategies in your organization (Training begins at 8:00am and the day ends at 4:30pm)
Workshop Objectives:
1. Describe the theoretical frameworks and evidence that supports the use of team skills to improve safety culture and achieve high reliability.
2. Know the team skills that enhance team performance, patient safety, high reliability, and individual resilience.
3. Demonstrate/practice the team skills using case studies and teach back.
4. Use coaching/conflict resolution and organizational change strategies to implement and sustain team skills in your setting.
5. Develop action plans to sustain team skills within your setting.
