We appreciated the number of persons that stopped at our booth to learn more about the important work a Patient Safety Organization performs to improve patient safety and healthcare quality. Additionally, incoming NCPS President, Pam Dickey, MPAS, PA-C, and NCPS Patient Safety Program Director, Carla Snyder, MHA, MT(ASCP)SBB, presented a session on the topic of diagnostic error, "Communication as a Cure - Preventing Diagnostic Error".
