Webinar: Medication Safety Best Practices & Pitfalls
Join us for this webinar where we will review leading medication safety resources, perform a deep dive into ISMP's medication best practices, and outline strategies to improve medication safety. Our speaker, Gary Cochran, PharmD, S.M. is an Associate Professor, in UNMC’s College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice.
A 30-minute Safe Table will follow his presentation. In the Safe Table attendees will be able to confidentially discuss medication safety challenges and successes in their own work setting. NCPS membership is required to attend this portion of the webinar since the information discussed during a Safe Table is considered Patient Safety Work Product within the NCPS and providers' Patient Safety Evaluation Systems. In accordance with the federal Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005, members attending the webinar will need to agree to abide by the conditions stated in the NCPS Temporary Workforce agreement which is included as part of the member registration process.
CEUs will be available to NCPS members who attend the webinar and complete the presentation's evaluation.
